How did we miss the info? Since December 24, our faithful Mirillis Action! has been HDR compatible, meaning it is now possible for me to record some HDR footage on PC. Before only davton could do it thanks to our Shogun Inferno and it was much simpler for him to do so on Xbox One or PS4 as he doesn't own as powerful a PC as mine. Expect to see more HDR content on PC then, which you will only be able to enjoy if you own a TV supporting HDR. To discover an extract from the Resident Evil 3 demo in HDR, you can either download the file and play it on your TV or check out our YouTube channel.

I love DMC5, but I didn't like many of the levels and their designs. It was like they were from a past generation, where one type of style was overused for almost the whole game.
I understand that was intentional, however it doesn't change the fact that overall DMC5's levels were very bland. Compare that to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, where the different locations, architectural aesthetics and design really made the game gorgeous and I can immediately think of each one.
Again, different styles of games that focused on certain areas over others. While DMC5 focused to have more complex and detailed character models, RE2/3 chose to have more detailed environments with hundreds of objects - interactable and non-interactable - that makes them feel real.
You can even opt to use some LOD if you want to ease on scene complexity. All in all it just makes the game seem like a cross-gen from last-generation and not in the same efforts of Resident Evil 7 or others.
Even a game like Horizon has an extraordinary list ofNPCs (you can choose randomly...
) with better detail and effects, than any human character on Resident Evil 3. And i don't know it that is more pathetic for the team on Resi3, or worse for the bad light it shines on the RE Engine as a whole. I don't want mediocre output on capcom just to max the quantity of games in each year.
Anyway, first hour of the game is up on youtube. Beginning is top notch cinematic shit with great camera work.
Not sure if i'll get the game at launch tho. Still playing Nioh 2 and i have Ori 2 as well.
the facial mo-cap on the other hand, the Re5 Jill is shockingly far more superior.
has a wider range of expressions.
