Crackdown is finally back with some new images and a quite interestingly done video of the coop mode. It's also worth mentioning that a demo will be available on January 18, and that the final game will be released around the 20th of February depending on your country.
Update: Added a second video, and a LQ-version of the first.
Update #2: 18 more images added.

The feature on IGN has me even more excited for this game than I was, it looks like it does something fresh with the GTA formula and on a HUGE scale!

Co-op is just the icing on the cake! :P

i really hope this game ends up being amazing...it has huge potential...the only thing is so many people havn't heard of it...i rekcon this game will end up being one of those greatest games that nobody played

The *look* of this game is running circles around its gameplay promise. I really hope there's enough uniqueness poured into other areas of it aswell.

The view distance looks unlimited and the vertcal elements seems to give it a unique difference..

The animation sucks and the graphics suck imho. Why is everyone hyped up about jumping around and shooting cars :P? seriously No offence!

That's sort of my point. It has this ultra stylish thing going, but in essence it's Saints Row with Inspector Gadget shoes from what the media shows.

I just hope there's more to it.

Because is the only Super GTA game we will have until GTA4 finally ships. looks cool and gives you more freedom than anyother next gen game available.

I just get a sense of pointless gameplay when I think about how similar this game may be to the GTA gameplay. I find the new graphic style impressive, but it seems wasted on a game of this type. It's okay though, I can't expect every game to suit my taste. There are alot of GTA fans out there so I hope the game is sucessful nevertheless.

Wow that was just absolutely horrible. Just Cause-like ludicrous jumping/driving. The cell shaded graphics are just funky..eek..horrible..

This game looks cool, at 1st i thought it was another lousy clone, but nowim starting to see it as a new fresh take on GTA, and the scale and freedom seem very interesting. of course you have to like the genre... if you only like gta, than you dont like the sandbox genre you just like GTA, dont confuse the two.

I think this looks pretty awesome actually. Co-op looks like it could be really fun. In fact I don't even remember any GTA style game ever having a co-op mode (minus mods on PC versions), that alone makes this one appealing to me.

The art style in this game doesn't know what it's doing, some screens look great, others look horrible.

It looks like a cheap PC game.

Exactly. It's a different artistic style and I'm really hoping that more developers will bring more variety this generation.

i am right, ever since I saw this game last year I knew it was just going to flog SR. Last GTA Game I played was Vice City and was taken back because it just was so boring and repiditive. This game is an exception because even just looking at screenshots is fun. The graphics are better than SR and a much better and more stable framerate. Hopfully it will turn out good, if it does'nt then that means there has been no Sandbox game that keeps you playing over 3 months without getting sick of it.

Okay, you're right about this being the only one before the real deal, GTAIV. Can't wait! I'll just try the demo of CD and see if it's really that bad gameplay wise.

That looks like soo much fun. I recon there'll be competitions to see who can jump from one side of the city to the other without touching the ground ;)
So long as the play area is large enough, and there is enough variety in the missions, this could be pretty good imo.

It's not really like Saint's Row from what I've played, or GTA. It gets those comparisons because it's in a sandbox environment. Think more along the lines of the Incredible Hulk game :)
