Xbox 360

As you may already know, Crackdown is my favorite game so far this year, and it's with great delight that I learned about the downloadable content this morning. No one can say that Realtime Worlds is taking us gamers lightly! Here are some of the free updates: Some bugs/issues corrected, ability to reset the gangs, a way to get the last remaining orbs more easily, a ground strike for level 4 agents, a better camera, a "cheat" system that will allow the most creative people out there to go wild and a new game mode where the player will have to get every Gang vehicle to the Agency garage. As for the pay to play content (800 points), it's also very nice: 3 new vehicles, lots of new weapons and items, 4 new game mode. And of course free and pay content will unlock new achievement points. Realtime Worlds went crazy and released 5 videos showcasing all this, along with dozens of images. Enjoy!

One of the developers of Crackdown uploaded this image to the game's official forum without more informations, but it looks like this could be part of this excellent's game downloadable content. Buggy races on the beach? Where do I sign?

As promised earlier this week, here is some more Crackdown footage from a part of the map that wasn't available in the demo. I've chosen to show the "Tetris Docks" of the Volk Island because it's a quite fun environment, and it shows the rocket launcher in action!

With two weeks left till the European release of Crackdown, the XCN provided us with long and interesting interview with Phil Wilson, Producer of Crackdown at Realtime Worlds. Inside you'll his thoughts about the future of Real Time Worlds, GTA, the Halo 3 beta and much much more.

Announced during the X05, Crackdown had gone from being seen as a laughable title from one of the most anticipated games on the 360 in less than 18 months, mostly thanks to an excellent demo really showing what the game was all about. I think I've already said many times how much I enjoy playing (and nnow playing again) this game, so I don't think I have to state this again in details. Until the release next week I'll put online some more videos showing environments and enemies not available in the demo.

Xbox 360

Microsoft released this brand new trailer of Crackdown presenting some of the achievements unlockable in the game, some of them being quite interesting to say the least.

Xbox 360

I'm sure you all already know that the demo of Crackdown is available no the Martketplace since yesterday. Since I'm still not allowed to use footage from the preview build, I've decided to record some videos from this excellent demo. So I'll let you guys take a look at some coop footage recorded with Snoopers, and the scaling of the Agency building.

Xbox 360

Thanks to the Xbox Community Network, we got the opportunity to submit questions to an Q&A session with Real Time Worlds (and what seems to be Dave Jones himself). Some of ones you guys submitted in the forums got through and was answered, and you'll find alot more questions and answers inside.

Xbox 360

Crackdown is finally back with some new images and a quite interestingly done video of the coop mode. It's also worth mentioning that a demo will be available on January 18, and that the final game will be released around the 20th of February depending on your country.
Update: Added a second video, and a LQ-version of the first.
Update #2: 18 more images added.

Xbox 360

Crackdown, as colorful as ever, is back with this new trailer and this series of images presenting some of the agent skins available.
