EA keeps releasing two or three new images from Lord of the Rings: Battle For Middle-Earth II each week. This time it's from the same maps that was presented last week. The graphics really fail to impress when the view is zoomed in.

On them failing to impress... it is an RTS. Maybe a console based RTS with a really aggressive and advanced LOD scheme where a lot of detail is filled into the characters as you zoom in would be better, but that is not the here and now. Compared to the other RTS games on the market (and the source PC game) it looks solid.
Also you move units like stacks, like in RTW.
I don't really know if I even care about this title but what I do care about is if EA can finally bring RTS genre games to the console with a control scheme that doesn't suck.
If they can this opens up an entirely new genre of games to the 360 and tons of new gameplay for Live.
Detail looks very good for a RTS.
Lovin' the Shire map.
maybe is just the boring license they are purporting :)
