My hope for a more stealth-based game a lá Theif was completely shattered when he strapped on that flying machine and flew over the entire city. But AC2 can still be a pretty good game if they adress the original's shortcomings. The mission design for example. You can customize your gear this time, which was something I thought was lacking in AC1. Overall it seems to be an improved sequel.

I love the first pic,the atmosphere in there is awesome cloudy skies and that black outfit looks very awesome too.

I really hope the gameplay is good because that will decide if I buy it or not.

Can't wait to try it out, i loved the first one, except the repetitiveness, but it seems this one has more various stuff to it which is nice.

And it seems that once Ezio is a regular assassin, he later on gets a stubble beard when he turns to a master, pretty cool, prefer him with a stubble.

Why? I can't remember the last time i saw a sequel that tries so hard to really improve from the first game.

I've already preordered. It's just sad that i have to wait til next year to get my hands on the PC-version.

Nice video, like the fact that the story follows Ezio's life for 30 years, and you see how he changes during that time.

They really do seem to be trying very hard to fix all the problems of the first game, except for one major issue...it being an open world game.

I think that what made the last gen prince of persia games so good was the linear style story and platforming puzzles. The freedom to do what you want and explore might work great for GTA, but for games of this style I'm still not convinced it can transfer into a truly AAA experience.

I have high hopes for this game, but I'd be lying if I said I felt like a preorder was a safe bet. Fingers crossed.

In my Opinion. AC wouldn't be so popular without that Open World Thing.

so i guess now that he has twin blades the developers are gonna place hundreds of guards patrolling in pairs now. thats gonna look kinda ridiculous, as it seems like the only time u will be able to use the twin blades is when they make it obvious.

Graphics are a little mixed in places, but outstanding in others. Must buy for me, as I love open world stuff and games which DON'T focus on a) soldiers, b) guns, and c) modern settings.

Or if your like I am, the two kills right off the bat will work great when you attack large groups of armed guards. My favorite part of the first game was wipeing out whole columns of soldiers. I'd ride my horse right into them, jump off, and proceed with the slaughter! Ah, good times ;)...

Atmosphere looks great... is it going to be completely and utterly destroyed again by a sci-fi HUD and futuristic cut scenes?

These screens obviously portray the main things people love about AC, why can't we just leave it that way? Why does everything have to end up like the friggin' Matrix?
