Xbox 360 PS3

Fatal Inertia is back already with this series of images. Still no news of the PS3 version, delayed because of a "middleware problem".

middleware = ue3

They appear to be in the same futuristic flying vehicle as Denis Dyack.

The 360 seems to be handling this ok, sounds like dyack's full of it...

Dyack's complaints were about the state of the Xbox 360 engine last year. It probably runs a lot smoother today than when Dyack got it in March 2006. UE3 for the PS3 has been problematic even longer.

360 already has its finalized & optimized UE3 engine, so KOEI can get this to run decently well on Xbox 360, whereas they probably still don't have the optimized-for-PS3 UE3 which, combined with the fact that the documentation is lackluster in Japanese (so it's hard for them to solve all the problems themselves), forces KOEI to delay the PS3 version.

[sarcasm]Well, surely if the PS3 is so wonderful, it should be able to overcome these issues just by using the awesome power of cell...[/sarcasm]

Point is they shouldn't promise unless they can deliver. Otherwise, wait until you know you have a product worth selling before you sell it!
