Xbox 360 PS3

Activision today released these three new images of Call of Duty 3, looking quite impressive. There's a huge difference between this and COD2 if you look at the graphics style, and I can't wait to play it myself.

lol its just you mate.

I think that its so dreary and dull that it might seem to look crappy, but in motion it is quite impressive.

See it in motion it looks a lot better. Screens like this teach us all a lesson we must see a game in motion before we go and judge :D

Quite very true. With some great animation this might turn out to be one nasty war game.

yeh the textures are horrible, but i like the fact tht the grass moves with bodies falling on it and moving around on it. will be good to trace sniper positions i reckon!lol
i bet this game does look and feel really good in motion. and the sound will be amazing to ,to get you right into the game imo

have you seen the new BIA gameplay video?

Not nearly as good looking as the target trailer they showed a good number of months ago.

COD3 looks spectacular in motion and it looks much much better than COD2.

Yep COD3 looks crappy , the reason is that COD3 developers are not the same ones that developed COD2 , COD3 is like a play this crap while Infinity Wards develops COD4

XAL, who are you kidding? BIA looks fucking amazing. COD3 looks like COD2 but a bit tuned up. It doesn't matter as long as the gameplay is good, but graphicly, compared to BIA it looks like shit.

i've seen bia in action gameplay wise and its fu*king amazing... but i have seen cod3 as well in action and its amazing as well... the difference is the feel of the game ... bia isnt as dark as cod3 ... both are awesome games but i agree i wish infinity ward had done cod3... they were on a roll... i'll keep my eyes peeled open and pray for cod4 for the 360 :D

Battlefield isn't as intense as COD and BIA IMO. COD and BIA both have intense combat, Battlefield doesn't have that... well the console version is more intense, but the console version just sucks

He said "BiA". I'm going to for sure end up getting BiA, because I loved the first two to death, but if this is actually decent gameplay wise, I'll give it a chance.

Has anyone even seen the new in game movies where soldiers are storming a church over a graveyard? The game looks insane
Not only that but the amount going on onscreen at once is pretty great

The thing about the strange graphics on the pictures. (blocky edges/no blur) is caused by the way the screens are captured. I dunno' how you make the screencaps, but I think it's done the wrong way.

Battlefield has always been a really slow paced game, and is hard to be intense whatsoever after playing some of the fast stuff we have now

But in my opinion Call of Duty has never been intense either, or very fun, I'm more interested in seeing Medal of Honor make a comeback to the fun it was
Otherwise Brothers in Arms is the only war game I am really interested in right now
