Codemasters has revealed a bunch of images from the development process of GRID. The images present different features in the game, through their development tools and it's always interesting to see stuff like this!
Codemasters information:
01: Basic 3D Stage. Terrain blocked in, track defined and play tested.
02: Background details fleshed out - mountains and hills from the region composited in.
03: Painting stage. Mountains painted up, and a sky painted in. Some basic specular hi-lights and shadows painted in.
04: Cars and lighting added. Shot lighting FX are defined, in game cars are added onto the track. All features represented (bloom, motion blur, volumetrics etc) will feature in game.

I still hope the car- and gameplayphysic are still between PGR and Forza and the rollovers from the first trailer are still alive!!!
While the Jamara video was okay, the Yokohama video was rather disappointing for me.
edit: ok, didn't really read up on the codemasters info, before writing my comment... well. There you have it.. Times two. ;)
The 2nd mountain pic looks very clean and crisp, 3th is also nice, but it's already a bit more washed out and brown and the last is even worse
Very impressive looking.
Dirt had the same issue with bloom, I had the feeling there was a nuclear explosion in progress nearby while driving.
