Not my kind of game, not in the least. But the visuals are nothing short of stunning (though you really have to see it in motion to fully appreciate it).

Looks awesome!

they are really marketing this the wrong way IMO. This game should be like Super Smash Bros for Wii. Nintendo approached other developers like Konami and Sega and asked them to have their IP's like Snake or Sonic to be in SSB and that's what Sony needs to do with this. They need to get in agreements with other developers, have their stages and characters in LBP. Seriously these customization screens are getting lame...

What if they showed a Metal Gear Stage or a Sly Cooper stage or Ratchet stage? That would be awesome and cool, this is lame.

I'm mostly worried about the replay value of this title, So far the pussles have all been physic based, yet to see real enemies and other things like that.

It's true you can make probobly lots of graphically and different areas but the pussles themself... Feels very limited.

Definitely worth dabbling in. Would be awesome if they kept adding features even after release as a rolling product.

certainly the most unique game this year, and the one of the few Ps3 games I really want to try out!

I too was excited for this game when it was first shown but it's been, what, a year since then? And in that time I haven't seen anything new or interesting about it. It'll probably be fun to mess around in for a little while, but PS3 GOTY? Well, for Sony's sake I hope not...

I hear there will be enemies and bosses in the final game.

Basically the core mechanics of the game have been done for a while (from what I gathered from last year's GDC, and the comments they made), but basically, they're adding content, and there has been a lot of new content shown. Basically just a lot of textures, geometry (especially backgrounds), and other stuff like those funny pale flashing things which may be the new collection items but I dunno.

you seem to be missing the point of the game entirely. its about the user (us) creating whatever we want, and there is NOTHING stopping somone making those stages you mentioned. you would lose the appeal if a dev just made a stage everyone else wants to create themselves. the user created content IS the game. and i'd take that over some random special guest dev created levels anyday. afterwall we know what they can do imagination wize, but there are a LOT of people out there with creative, new and interesting ideas that no-one has ever seen.

game looks great tho, definate day one buy. most original title i've seen in a long LONG time. GOTY? its definately possible.

Yee-haw, whoopty-do, can we get the f'ing game already? Sony officially announced this and Home a full year ago and they don't seem to be even close to coming out. I want it already! This game is one of the main reasons I bought a PS3!

i really don't see the appeal. My guess is some people will be playing this for 2 years straight and create lots of cool stages that eventually no-one will be playing in, cause the majority got bored after a week and bought some online fps.
