We spotted a big bunch of new Metal Gear Solid 4 screenshots over our friends at Jeuxvideo.fr, which just returned from Japan where Konami allowed them to spend three days on Hideo Kojima's baby. Along with a full blown preview, they confirm that the game will get a worldwide launch on June, 12th. Rendez-vous taken !

Commented on 2008-04-02 17:34:36I often found the pacing in past MGS to be interupted by overly long cut-scenes!
And yes, there's a clear difference between pic 1 and 12. Therefore pic 1 is NOT ingame!

The chicken thing is quite disturbing *lol*

I absolutely HATE this word, but if there's one game deserving of it, it's MGS4. The word is epic. Done pre-ordered my copy and just waiting for the Beta disc now.

Day - 1 purchase.

It's surprising just how more ridiculous they've managed to make the story..
But still, I'll likely get it, just so I can finally see how this ends.

Commented on 2008-04-02 20:14:31The game in motion... I spected new animations but It seems I see the same animations I saw in MGS2 or 3... Snake animations and soldiers animations... Not speaking about cutscenes, where animations are impresive (great Motion capture)
Commented on 2008-04-02 20:22:29I'm in love with this game.
Commented on 2008-04-02 20:36:43Overall it looks ok but it won’t blow me away. Anyway MGS is about the story and storytelling.
