Killing off Visari, GG has balls. With the inevitable power struggle for Helghast leader, it could make for interesting plot turns. Maybe playable Helghast levels to view the war from their perspective (ala Halo 2)?

if it's in, i hope it's less "oh, shit, why do i have to play this guy" ala halo 2, more "awesome, i get to play this guy". halo is all about master chief. i didnt like arbiter, let alone playing as him.
trailer is awesome tho. some nice vocal talent and what seems to be a decent script as far as FPS's are concerned. i've wanted the game since it was announced, but this has officially got me excited about it. not long to wait either.
i hope they've toned down rico's machoisms tho. he was just annoyingly OTT in the second game. i dont mind the swearing, that's just part of war. but he was just a pain in the ass. at least he can heal you this time around when you're 'down but not out'. so even if he's an asswhole, he'll be a usefull one...lol
I will miss Brian Cox, but Ray Winstone's voice is awesome as well, I liked him in Beowulf.
Anyways, great trailer, great music and editing and even voice acting, leaps better than Killzone 2.
The only thing I wish is for GG is that they have fixed the MANY dumb issues from the MP beta.
I decided not to buy Killzone 3 on launch day, or probably never (I am much more hyped for Crysis 2) but if I see they have overhauled the MP since the beta and I see the fun in it, then I will buy it.
The story can always be watched through 720p youtube so I am not worried.
As of now, Killzone 3 I might not buy it, I am not hyped for the game anymore as I once was (even though this trailer was great).
I guess I am more into more "fun gameplay" were your character has abilities that I can use anytime and anyhow I want to, this type of shooter is getting boring for me.
Nice to see the FROG unit getting some work outside Liquid's ranks :) -Great looking trailer, nice and epicy with it's orchestral music and shouting people. Killzone has a great backstory( check out Killzone 2 website for ton of cool info and backstory) and well realized universe, but it's a shame that it's not explored and put to use that well in the actual game narrative.
The scene with the giant army looks pre rendered but everything else looks real-time and really good. definitely looks like a better story than killzone 2.. thats not necessarily saying much but its not entirely a requirement, so its good

Apparently they have toned down the swearing so that they can focus on more engaging dialogue. Apparently you are not the only one KORNdog who found the dialogue off putting in KZ2.

Anyway, the trailer's pretty good; it hinted that GG may actually take care with how the story and characters are handled in this one. Everyone loves a bit of Winston as well.

Crysis 2! Deus Ex Human Revolution! Have faith that those are amazing!
Hopefully Rico will be killed off in the first five minutes, either by being burnt to death via a flamethrower or being crushed by a gigantic space cruiser.
Killzone 2 was a very pleasant surprise for me so I'm excited for the game. I found the story much more gripping than Halo 3's (and as gripping as Halo Reach) because it had that hint of desperation and the ending was unexpected. And I enjoyed the mechanics as much as the story!
I am amazed at the talent they can get for their game. Ray Winstone AND Malcolm McDowell? Amazing.

On the PC, Crysis 2 should be ace. On the 360 and PS3, maybe not so ace. With the poor showing of the 360 version and the no show for a PS3 version, it's hard to have faith in those conversions.
