It looks interesting. Thanks for infor. But TBH, I´m getting sick of these episode-style releases.

Give us a complete game already, dammit! (forgets that this isn't how the game industry works any more, on any level - patch, patch and more patch...)

Yeah...exactly. I know this is a way for third party or Indie developers to find out, if the game is attractive, but damn.....

You guys can complain, but the truth of it is; if it didn't sell, they wouldn't do it. Developers follow trends of success, not failing trends or things of convenience. Actually, developers tend to do a lot of extra crap that destroys their quality of life, because they're trying to keep up with the demands of gamers.

Also, episodic has allowed some things to flourish that otherwise would've never seen the light of day.

Now, patches are bullshit. I told people that shitty PC-gaming practices would creep in, the second they started allowing patches to "finished" products and sure enough, here we are, where games are released broken, with "Day One Patches" or constant tinkering (not improving, just tinkering). That part of modern gaming can bite-chunk!

Well...the same what developers do, we do in our jobs as well....and usually it´s not voluntary on our side. They do it for money as we do. For me, I see episodic releases just for them to have some quick income,...maybe to be able to develop the game into it´s final state. And of course, they need some food for their families. :-D
