The does sound good, it's just a shame the demo was so far from fun in any significant way. the gameplay, AI, physics, it was all a mess and the races become predictable to the point of almost seeing the formula on screen.

If they can find a way to make it more varied in the final build it might be more fun, but damn that demo was so not the type of game I call fun.

game looks boring and the gameplay is incredible slow for a racer. Graphics are GoW style, yellow/brown everyhwere

Blur FTW.

Blur has far more depth than S/S. As some else said, if you could trade you bar for say boost or something when leading the pack, it would be something but as it is, they've missed a trick or two.

Also the cinematic presentation which is displayed as black bars top-bottom when a power play is triggered, gets old very very fast.

As Nietzsche says, it's almost as if you can see the race ahead of you and it then feels predicable.

It's not all bad though. The audio esp the engine note is lovely. And to be fair, the blur beta was massive compared to the S/S demo so maybe the MP will add some other dynamics not witnessed in the SP demo.

Although S/S demo wasn't that great I like it a lot more than the blur beta.
The power ups ,the handling of the cars etc. felt so strange.
I don't get what Bizarre has done wrong because with MSR/PGR they have proven that they can do more than proper handling.
But I can understand if someone doesn't get S/S either.

I will buy S/S after I have spent some time with Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption.
I will rent Blur to see if it's better than the beta. If it feels better I'm gonna buy it too, if not I'll go with Sega Allstar Racing.

lol korndog doing his best to troll again. Anyway I'm in complete agreement with RoarrrUK, it's just bizarre that they released a single player demo (no pun intended) with such weak AI, maybe its a Disney and they want it to be easy for kids lol I don't know =/

Presentation wise S/S is far superior, I love the sound over Blur. But Bizarre have nailed the gameplay down, and at the end of the day thats what matters the most.
