Dead or Alive Extreme Volleyball was one of my favorite games on the Xbox. It wasn't a deep game at all, but it was, first and foremost, a great way to kill some time when coming home from work. Getting a sequel on the 360 was great news for me so I preordered the game as soon as possible. But now after a few hours of playing the game I'm quite disappointed. Between the graphics far from being as impressive as I'd expect from Team Ninja (and at 30 fps!), the fact that the game has now become a bit too complex to just play and enjoy it for a few minutes of fun and an overall lack of polish, I can't help but think that DOAX2 was just a quick cash-in Team Ninja rushed out of the door to be in time for Christmas. I can't say it's an awfully bad game, but it's basically just the sum of average to OK small games, linked with numerous and very annoying loading screens.

I will be getting this game even though it has got bad reviews, never did get the first one.
I agree with Jolli, they more time they spend developing on the Xbox the more knowledge they know and the better games like NG2 will turn out on the Xbox 360.
BlimBlim, I don't really think it's a quick cash in to be honest, cause there are a lot of Japanese people who love this game for obvious reasons other than gameplay. I think Team Ninja just made this game for the fans, for people who just wanna take it easy, and to get more familiar with the hardware.
Although, there is tons of improvement that they could have made. Since there's a lot to be explored and it feels like a lazily made game.
DOA has become a serious contender as a fighter, besides Itagaki is already said he's already looking into DOA5.
PLZ go back and create Dead Or Alive 5 rater thx.

especialy online the other people can de really good at this game when youre just starting. but it is very nice and deep to get into.
Volleyball is now a lot harder, so that wont be your main moneymaker. What will is the jetski, which is every bit relaxing as you can want in this kind of game. The water is beautiful, peaceful, and there are some challenging courses to keep you on your game. So basically jetskiing replaces volleyball for the relaxing play of the last one. Waterslide was really fun, and once you memorize where you need to speed up and slow down, you can always choose to do that for a break from jetskiing if you just want a fast-paced race down the slide. I find it even better than the first one, since I really didn't enjoy playing volleyball in the last one. Pool hopping was also pointless in the last one, and I didn't like doing it. Still loved the game though to relax. This one has even more things to do. I think your mind will change if you give it another few hours of play. I expect to see your update opinions then. =)
as far as the graphics go, wow im surprised anyone would complain about them, it looks great!!!

Yeah I dont know why they continue DOAX series, it just hurts their image. They really need to make some quality games that is a considerable jump from their previous installations.
must. wait. only. a little. longer.
The game rocks (for me as a fan) and I cant wait for this game....... yam yam
Doesn't seem to be the massive step up from DOA4 (that was at 60 fps right ?)
I guess there is a lot of water physics and self shadowing going on, maybe thats why.
