Xbox 360

I've received Earth Defense Force X a few weeks ago now, and immediately gave it a quick run. I soon quit playing the game in disgust and never had the courage to put it in my 360 again for some video recording. Since my friend Prune was coming today I asked him to play the game and after some fiddling with the controls it turns out the game was actually pretty fun, if still incredibly cheap in term of graphics and animation. A game I would never recommend at full price, but cheaper it's quite decent. If you guys ask me to nicely I'll record some footage from more advanced levels with more interesting enemies.

I love games that don't take themselves seriously

Seeing that ant roll down the road at the end of the first mission... Brilliant :P

I think this game would be better if they made it back in the 1970's when they made like The Blob and movies about ant's and spiders killing off the human race. Also when is it possible that one RPG could take out a whole entire skyscraper. This game to me looks like a dumbed down version of Lost Planet minus snow. Yeah I was not very impressed and I think this game should only stay in Japan

It's typically been a budget series, low production values, etc. Plus, I don't think they could have made this game in the 70's :)

Yeah I guess I was all negative and didn't say any good about it. Well there are some good things like the fact that it seems like it's a major crisis with civilians running for there lives. Plus the fact of the large environments. Even though most of it is just repeated environments it's still nice to have a bigger area to fight. I would like more games have normal civilians act like civilians. For example like in the GTA series when you start firing your weapon only a few people will run and then when you get into a fight with someone it's like they just walk on by like nothing is happening. People should help the man out that you are trying to kill or when you fire a weapon there should be complete mass chaos. Like people running everywhere. I like that. Well I hope some devs get some idea about that.

Plus another thing that this game has down, but other still can't. Your A.I. Partners actually do something in battle and help you out. Some games still can't get this right.
