Enjoy this video showcasing the first levels of Far Cry Instincts. The graphics of the game are absolutely stunning, but in my humble opinion, bad AI and dull level design hurts it alot. An enjoyable FPS anyway, if you don't look too close at what it could have been.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2005-10-03 06:15:33If Cryteam can do that on Xbox, I can't wait to see what they do for the 360.
Commented on 2005-10-03 10:17:47And I can't wait to see what *they* can do with the 360 :)
Commented on 2005-10-03 10:46:09It's amazing - the framerates, draw distances (even thought there's obvious LOD at work there), the lighting, the objects and foliage.
I didn't expect the Xbox version of the game to look that good.
Commented on 2005-10-03 14:12:14It looks like Ubisoft Published it, and Ubisoft Montreal collaborated with Crytek to develop it.
Useless info I know.
But Crytek did make the original PC game, and developed the engine.
Oh btw, The Crytek engine is used to show off the up and coming Direct X Next (or Direct X 10). Go check it out, it's really neat stuff.
I think the video is on Microsoft's DirectX site.

Commented on 2005-10-03 15:59:08The xbox version is noticeably poorer as i could see But stil too good for xbox capabilities.
And i am sure that cryteam will make great things with xbox360.
Commented on 2005-10-03 16:12:01I wasn't aware that Cryteam had anything to do with this port--Ubi Montreal is a pretty awsome developer and I wouldn't have been shocked to see them pull this one off on their own--but regardless..I'm in no way trying to talk down the previous developer..FC was a great game and their next gen engine does indeed look spectacular.
This all being said and done, I still can't wait to see what Ubi Montreal does on the 360 :)
Commented on 2005-10-03 16:31:55So we both learned something.
Don't forget to check out the Direct X Next technology demo!
It features the first level from Farcry PC, and it's all super duper updated to make your mouth water. hehe.
