Senko no Ronde Rev X. is the second japanese Xbox 360 game I get to play this week-end. I'm very busy with the trip to Leipzig and the server optimizations so I didn't have a lot of time to really train correctly, but I've still managed to record this fairly interesting video. This game is a strange but interesting mix of a fighting game and a "Bullet Hell" Shoot'em Up, and at first it's really confusing. But after a few minutes everything starts to make sense and it get really enjoyable. The game system is quite simple: A for boosts, X for simple attacks, Y for special attack (guided projectiles, or temporary power ups for the simple attack), B for the secondary attack (bullet hell, mines...), right trigger for the shield and the lest trigger for the mega attack. It doesn't take more than a minute to get used to the controls, as expected from an arcade game. This is a really enjoyable but of course quite limited in scope title, old school gamers should love it.
The video was recorded at 60 fps and was terribly difficult to encode correctly. As I do not wish to make any compromise on the quality, I've had to limit the length to a bit more than 4 minutes for the low quality version, and only one rather long fight the the HD one. As always the 720p60 version requires a very powerful computer.

I´m really intrigued by this game.
It does have english texts?
there's no dialog in MP mode i hope. would get annoying, eh?
Looks to be an awesome shotemup, can never have enought shotemups ^^ lets hope Xbox 360 become the new Saturn/DC. as they had the best shotemups ever.
I picked it up, but to be honest I'd rather sell it than keep it.
However, for those of you with a great HD set, it might just be right up your alley.
Also, that boss has nothing on the octopus boss, which Ive only known one person who has beaten him. I cant even hit that boss.
BTW: Can you play this game on a PAL Xbox 360 and does it have an option for English language? And more importantly, is there a chance it will come out in Europe?
This is how it sounded late 2005 and early 2006.
No,N3 and Enchanted arm is only for JPN,n3 might come to USA though...
Reasons why they only thought it would come to Japan is because of the deisgn of thopse games were heavly asian made.
Now both N3/EM is soon out here in EU.
So anything can happend.
if we're getting Far East of Eden: Ziria, anything's possible. =)
Not impressed.
