Being ill and in bed for one week makes you not being that up-to-date, so that's why we are a little bit late about this. Atari has announced that Lotus, and the Lotus Elise R, Lotus Esprit V8 and Lotus Sport Exige R240 is in Test Drive Unlimited, releasing a bunch of images and a pretty long trailer for it.

Well about 3 to 4 months left before release and the final version will be better, you can,t realy compare a demo against the final game, but playing this game online will be alot of fun, lets just wait and see.

The demo was quite dispointing imo, but I have to admit I did have some fun with it.
But I'm getting really tired of these useless vids and screens of new cars wich don't really show anything interesting, just more of the same.(I'm not fingerpointing at Xboxyde here but the dev's of TDU)
Show something new/interesting for a change, or don't show anything at all!

How is being able to drive ANYWHERE you want in super hot cars boring (assuming you like driving games in general)? Combine that with a persistent universe with hundreds of other drivers motoring about with you and all the customization that's possible and you've got fun, fun, fun.

Not too bad at all... Seriously car games from that driver's view are just amazing.

It just makes everything alot more immersive because you actually feel like you're driving these cars.

Well I hope so. Maybe it will be much more fun when its online. Oh yeah, but is it just me or does the screens look like they have been pretty up, because they look much better then the demo. Well I guess thats why they call is a demo, plus i guess they compressed the crap outta the demo or something to make the download size smaller.

How is going 190 mph and slamming into cars, then running from the cops not fun!? I admit (like most everyone) the demo is lacking. BUT! I still have a blast! Even after the demo being out for a few weeks im still having fun and finding new things. If that was the final cut of the game I would say no to buying it, but since it isn't I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I didn't like the demo either. Not because of the graphics, because they are quite good. It's just the steering was no good. It felt like I was controling a boat. If they fix that it would be a good game. As of right now, I'm putting it off the radar.

video showed that handling hasn't improved since the demo. :) Just watch how choppy that "drift" is (yellow car, in-car view tries to make powerslide). Yeah yeah, it's not final yet. I allso had good times whit demo couple of thimes when it allmost worked. So this still got potential to be refreshing driving game, if somekind of miracle happens :)

Let me guess you want it more easy and arcady?

I hope they make it harder but casual fans like you will probably win, and it will be another arcady pgr3 type of handling.

I think pgr3 has the best handling ever, very natural!
When you're in the cocpit view, and you drift through a corner, you can almost feel the back of the car breaking out!
Everyone's always on about the graphics of pgr3, but I'm much more impressed with the car handling, and cockpit view...

I played the demo and thought it was a little too arcadey for my liking, and the handling felt rough in places, probably won't get it since i doubt they'll change the arcade style of it.
