As promised, Hangar 13 released a 2 GB patch allowing to play at 60 fps or with an unlimited frame-rate. The result will not be entirely satisfying if you intend to run the game at 1440p, as even our GTX 1080 can't prevent a few drops in such a resolution. 1080p seems much better of course, but we haven't had time to play much to be sure it is steady in all circumstances. That being said, even though the patch has improved the overall experience on PC, there are most certainly still a whole lot of bugs and glitches to fix. The following video was also recorded with a Sweet FX preset we found on the Internet. It's not exactly what we would want the game to look like yet, but at least it does not have that washed out filter anymore.

I'm sure the developers ended up having to knock down the graphical quality in order to optmize the game, but I watched that trailer a dozen times and loved how the game's gameplay sections almost looked like a CG movie.
Still, it's for the best if the game would end up like Assassin's Creed: Unity, where the "developers' vision" took priority over the "reality" of current hardware power and was a mess for many months.
Such a pity that it's getting so much hate while boring repetitive multiplayer games gets all the praise.

Does it have something to do with the new driver update from Nvidia?
