GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

The Surge will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One next week, but we've been able to play the final version for about a week. It is still too soon to give you our verdict, but we have a pretty good number of videos to share with you this morning. Inside, you'll find some PS4 Pro footage (in the 2 graphics modes available - Performance and Quality) and a series of videos captured on PC, while the game was running in 1440p. Enjoy!

I really wish more melee combat games would use limb targeting and directional attacks like this. Im getting really bored of the keep hacking an enemy and dodge routine that having a targeting body parts mechanic makes it more engaging.

this looks a damn sight better than lord of the fallen though.

Is the game follow the yellow brick road, or is it like souls where you can go to diffrent zones?

i like the style and gameplay, it will get bashed to high heaven because its like souls but haters will be haters, so long as its good game at the end of the day then that is all that matters

There are different zones that you can backtrack to. The main difference with Dark Souls is that to go to certain areas, you need to take the train, which means the game has to load (it's fast).
