PS3

The MGS was the opportunity to discover two new Gran Turismo 5: Prologue tracks, and to see people that play much better than us. The first one who says "the difference is obvious" shall be punished by my hand. In the menu, the three tracks of the demo, and some sweets in between for we love you so much at Gamersyde.

This game brings a tear to my eye. Also, I think you should try to give more attention to the game's replays, which are just awe inspiring.

Those tracks are modeled after real world locations. They're bare because they...well, they're bare in real life :)

Ehwww the trees still look ugly as hell, thank god you don't get to see them that much (and won't notice while playing). The shadows sometimes look yuck too and the interior does not receive shadows from the outside world. Apart from that it looks really good and finally we see something that deserves the name mirror.

Hmm so the ring circuit is built in the sky?, as their is no horizon what so ever expect a few low quailty trees around the outer fence.

I'm sure thats not how it looks in real life.

in-car camera needs more realism, and I see hints of bumper cars still in that first part where he crashes the other car.........NO GOOD.

Lighting is wonderful, and rearview mirror reflection seems to be pretty much fixed.

This is a Japanese game being demoed at a French games event... I'm pretty sure they're using kilometers.

Yep i agree the tracks are very weak graphical, they are very empty and the game looks way more arcade then i expected it to be.

Everyone is talking about the graphics and stuff but im more interested in the physics and gameplay. After some time it was getting boring. You was easily the fastest car on the track and you only had to finish the race. I hope it will be more balanced this time.

That looked awesome. Something about it really makes it feel real. Maybe the lighting and the backgrounds/LOD. Great job graphically!

i'm just not impressed, sorry. to be fair, i'm not all that impressed by forza either.
those paper cutout trees are horrible, environment detail sparse, major pop-in on the cars, glitchy shadows and the bumper car effect is still there.

i'm not spending much money on this generation. what i was fairly expecting will not be available til next generation, or until crysis atleast.

Did anyone notice the badly animated 2D trees outside of the track ?
The track itself looks weird. You could think they forgot to put some textures inside the track.
Sry but this looks cheap...

No, it doesn't, but Polyhony has hinted that it might come at later point as downloadable patch.

It does look nicer every time we see it. Now the race itself actually is starting to look fun again as well. There are a few graphical tidbits that still needs to be ironed out like fx. that enviromental shadows doesn't affect the inside of the car etc.

But I must say I'm starting to dig it.

Looks great but the AI cars are still riding on rails, that guy rammed them and leaned on them and they didnt react let alone fishtail into the wall.

I wonder if they are ever going to take this series forward under the bonnet as well as on the surface.
