That's just lip shadow.

Looks really good though. I've never delved into these games before, but I really liked Rival Schools 2 on DC. Is this anything like that?

Thank god I can atleat expect some kind of AA on 360 version.
Having jaggies all over in a celshade game, is like missing the whole point.

Actually the Naruto Ultimate ninja was by far the best looking Naruto game. Aliasing was there but it had some blur or special effect and in motion it was simply amazing game to watch. Too bad they decide to do multiplatform this time :p

Hopefully this game will be better in terms of gameplay and not so simple like the first one.

Too bad? Why would going multi-platform be bad? It gives the devs opportunity to reach more people and make more money. That's a good way to continue to afford making games, last time I checked...

Oh yeah, and aside from the aliasing(I don't see any in the trailer), this game has possibly the best cel shading ever. The way they are handling the animation is incredible as well...

Like said before, im stoked. On the gameplay mechanics, i hope they will expand some, but not too much to be honest(talking about vs mode). The thing i liked about UNS was the fact that you weren't fighting the controls and allowed all the focus to be on the fighting itself. So im for expanding in that area but keep it basic enough as possible. Story mode tho was fun got repetitive on the mission and gameplay so i expect a better one this time around. Oh and yeah, the graphics are stunning:)

Sgaay! (Incredible)
Set Tai Cuts! (I'll definitely won!)

I'am very happy that i can see the game in Europe and US. I thought it would be released in Japan only.

But Fall 2010 is very late :S

What? For 360 as well? That's great news and all but the 360 never had the first game. Won't that be a little odd? It's like the PS3 getting Mass Effect 2 but not 1.

You know... I feel like I shouldn't be addicted to any kid anime, but for some reason I just like Naruto. As much as I don't want to, I like it. I played the first game so I know that this will be pretty good. The mini quest thing was kinda dumb, but the fighting engine is superb.

This is a fighting game based on an anime where so many games before it have been made over and over covering the exact same material... Gamers that didn't get the first one aren't missing a single thing, not a thing.

A game like Mass Effect where things like your decisions or who lives and who dies carries over can't even be remotely compared to this type of game. Definitely one of the most odd comparisons I've ever seen.

Didn't expect that it would be for 360 as well. So what will happened to Ubisofts Naruto-series? Always imagined that there were this odd license deal that Ubi were forced to only release Naruto games on 360, Namco Bandai for PS3 and Toby (?) could only make Naruto games for the Wii.

Yep, makes a lot of sense from a market standpoint, but from license view, kinda contradicts everything people tought was possible in terms of localizations and use of license.

But, if we forget about what's happening currently in the anime and just focus in the fact that this game is going to be released outside of Japan (where the anime story is way behind the game's), then isn't it actually the opposite? Since, you know, games are 99.99% always based only in anime material and we get them late because our dub is way behind the original (oh, and there is localization also to take into account).

I'd go even as far as calling this game spoiler intensive and the trailer too, just because it showed Sasuke in an akatsuki robe.

When the anime is quite short or the dub version is not so far away compared to the original, we only have to worry about localization time. But in shows like Naruto we get CoNR and CoNR2 while we wait for the game Japan has got for 4 years.

So, no. This game is actually waaaaaayyyyy ahead of the anime and manga (at least for us, outside of Japan).

yes that's right this game is guaranteed to go to the end of the invasion of pain arc, as there have already been clips of sage naruto and nagato fighting!!

and there are clips showing you leaving the leaf village in story mode for a more free roam experience, excepting missions as you would on gran pulse in final fantasy 13, it should be big as there are clips of the hidden sand village!, to see all this just go on the Japanese google and type naruto ultimate ninja storm 2, the first page is the official game site, hope this has helped
