the true overall best games are those not hyped up so much...Painkiller, Condemned...maybe Perfect Dark Zero?

While other games like Halo 2, Doom3, Half-Life 2, kind've went under their reputation, (Halo 2 and Doom 3 I have played and know for a fact it was a major let down) Half-Life 2 I am citing friends and review sites...

therefore I doubt gears of war, killzone 2, and as i guessed madden 2006 will suffer the same fate as Halo 2, Doom3, Half-Life 2

-there are always exceptions-

amera, you're just the kind of person who foolishly sets expectations for sequels a million times above what is possible, your fault, not the designers.

If you were disappointed by half life 2, then there is NOTHING that would have satisfied you.

halo 2 was better than halo.

simple facts. the only thing suggesting different is nostalgia and stubbornness.

condemned is plenty hyped, it's been mentioned at every turn, to say its less hyped just means you haven't been paying attention. These shots do look good.

You’re such an idiot.
Look up and see that I claimed that I never played the WHOLE half-life 2, I was claiming it based on resources...

And added to that, when I did play, the game was just graphically amusing, the gameplay wasn't much...

As for halo 2...you're too easy to amuse...every person (intelligent person) hated the single player campaign...which was a major downfall...admit it...I mean even I could barely get through the single player mode...it was a piece of shit...as for multiplayer, that's what gives it the title: Halo 2, sequel to (most would say) best Xbox game. But unfortunately, the single player does come into the rating process when reviewing a game. If ever I want to play halo single player, I personally switch back to Halo 1 because of the fun. Now use proof when u make arguments and not simple idiotic comments

Condemned hasn't been as hyped as Gears Of War, Killzone 2, Madden 2006, and seems a lot like Painkiller. Which was a great game.

These shots look great.

And I was wondering, in the video, did the main person, use his weapon to block the enemy's melee attacks?
Pretty interesting, if positioned and timed correctly to use your weapon to block the others. I don't recall having seen that in 1st person shooters...

Condemned... ...seems a lot like Painkiller. Which was a great game.
Painkiller was fun to play...for 30 minutes! After that it got so repetitive and slightly boring (my opinion!)
And I don´t think (hope) that it has much in common with Condemned! The Only similarities I made out thus far is that they are both 1st person and have a quite dark and "scary" graphical environment.
Painkiller was a straight shooter, and i expect Condemned to have a little more depth in terms of backgroundstory and tasks (like that c.s.i.-stuff...finding and anlalysing things...)

I dunno, i really enjoyed it, and the physics. It was pretty "haunting", I enjoyed it and the atmosphere the game created. You never knew where you were going to fight next, you just knew it was somewhere scary.
