This badboy can't come out soon enough. Only four more months, it's really not that long anymore. I'm going to explore the hell out of this one.

This shows how bad this game needed better hardware to realize its full potential. Shame they could not wait until next gen console(or first pc).

It's important to note, that these graphics are incredible for 7 year old hardware, and only exist because of the determination and advances in programming and refining code. So when it comes to the new Xbox, the possibilities will be all that greater for developers, because they have learnt so much from squeezing out every drop of perfection over the years.

It's kinda like living in a small house, arranging the living space to be comfortable and efficient over the years, then moving into a mansion. The possibilities would feel greater than they would if you slowly moved up the property ladder constantly adjusting everytime.

Basically, they have a great game engine, and will be able to step up all the HD textures, polygons, and map size to massive levels, and still have room to add cherries and cream on top.

Screeshots always looks good. They have been working for years and it is big team with probably the most highest budget ever ? gta4 budget was 100millions $.

i'm so ready for some gameplay footage now. It's hard to imagine a solid framerate being offered when everythings been looking so good so far.

Except for the fact that the architecture always changes with consoles. And thus is most of the learned skills or processes are not applicable.
And the game engines themselves also change over the course of the year.

But yes it, does look nice. Just waiting for some real gameplay (bring in the screen tearing and frame-rate issues).

It'll be interesting to see if they do show gameplay. If I remember correctly Rockstar have never really shown gameplay of GTA prior to release, but then again they have had the "gameplay series" of videos for their last three games.

yeah I know. Hopefully giant bomb will have a quick look a couple of days before..and digital foundarys bound to have a comparison write up. It's been shown on the ps3 so far when demo'd so at least that has to be a good sign for the ps3 version

Maybe they went PS3 as lead to compensate for the lack of their promised exclusive "agent"? Lol.

The install base for the Xbox 360 and PS3 guarantee this game is going to sell like hot cakes. That's the main reason it's being released on current gen consoles.

They only started doing that with new IP's, to get people interested. Part of GTA's mystique is how they tease and present the game before release. I know with GTA4 they had given publications a hands on demo for single and multiplayer a couple months before it came out. That's probably the best where going to get here.

Anyway I'm pumped for this. I'm sure I've said it before but RS in my mind is the only company that really gives us something special. Every other game that comes out seems to always be built solely around one mechanic and if not it's just another mashed up stealth shooter action game.

Rockstar doesn't really show gameplay videos. I don't know why people keep mentioning they're waiting on them.

I think they where hoping R* would keep their current trend rolling that RDR and max payne started. GTA is an entirely different beast though i guess...

I will wait until seeing IN-GAME footage.

But judging from these screens, the graphic update is almost non-existent. Blurry textures specially.

And NO PC version is a crime.
PC version with iCEnhancer was one of the best features (created by a person from the community). And the custom cars, custom radar, layout, sounds...

But all the GTA V videos are IN-GAME and showing Gameplay. The just use the cinematic camera loads of times to make them look like cut scenes. I remember they did the same with GTA IV
