Im glad the preorder items are less crazy this time. Last game the double barrel shotgun, incendiary and poison bolts were really good but you could only get them if you had preordered.
Im still a little pissed that they never even released them afterwards.

It looks awesome.
I don't know if it's just me but it seems to have a different tone or vibe than the first game which had a classical, old horror style environments. This looks more modern, at least based on what they ve shown so far

they made him look more older, slightly more realer too, hmmmm. I wish they would stop with the crappy color filters. there are times in the footage where it looks pretty good and times where it looks last gen when the filters are applied.

Man....this is a lot of crap to go through just to get your dead daughter back. I mean, she's dead....already changed her room into a pool room.

i get that impression too. the first game had it's fair share of jank to the point i couldn't even bring myself to finish the thing, so i'm hoping this one turns out better.

I really really enjoyed the original game. I never played its DLCs though and I Have heard they are better than the main game. I will probably play the first one again with its DLC at some point before the release of the second one.

The 1st game started off good when they were in that village, but kind of lost me when the enemies had machine guns & dynamite. The DLC was amazing.

This is the survival horror that's I been waiting for, story very deep and mysterious and new, but unfortunately not for everyone (comments here and in YouTube) the first one was beyond amazing and creepy and the end was so phenomenal that's kept me wondering and the DLC just nailed it, cannot wait to see how the second chapter will handle the story for this amazing game
Chapter 2 will handle it

After analyzing the trailer im pretty confident that its running on a modified id tech 5 engine and not 6. Its a shame but it was probably done because they were more familiar with id5. I think the game visually looks really good overall but there are some stuff that don't look great like some low res textures etc.
For this game its stuff like mechanics ,systems, enemy design etc that matter most so based on trailer there are a lot of improvements but i need to see a gameplay demo to be sure. Maybe at Gamescom?
