Because our copy of Hitman: Absolution wasn't sent early enough, we haven't had time to complete the game to give you a proper opinion. However, in spite of a few flaws (among which maybe the presence of a few linear levels), this new adventure of Agent 47 is way better than what some reviews have said in the past few days, at least according to us. Check out our videos of the 360 version, we'll try to add PC videos as soon as possible.
update: 2 PC videos added.

LOL @ 'detail' stuff in the first pic btw :-DDD
it's a great game tho, but it is punishingly hard. i've SA's all previous hitman titles on their hardest difficulties and not once did i feel the game was unfair. but this one i do. the AI see through disguises WAY too easy and from way too far away. the game is even more trial and error based. you have no map and thus don't know what room leads where or if you're using your perfectly timed movement to access a usefull area or a broom cupboard. you can't look through keyholes to assess the situation, you can't kit yourself out prior to each mission. the levels are cut into painfully small chunks with no sense of continuity between them.. it feels like a very stripped down experience as far as hitman is concerned, but it's still a good game for what it is.
Getting through that greenhouse was monotonous!
The moment I was in full SWAT gear, helmet and balaclava on with only my eyes showing and still every cop in the room thought I was hostile made me realise the system is beyond broken.
Shame because it does a lot of things well with some fresh ideas. Only other gripe is that every characters second word is a swear word. Nothing against swearing myself but when its over used just makes them sound dumb without anything really interesting to say.
We're not alone in thinking it's a broken system.
I just hope they do something about it. If they don't the game simply isn't worth playing on either expert or purist. Which begs the question...why did they even include them? Maybe because of the backlash from their first 'escape' demo video? Who knows. I probably won't play any further until it's fixed.

As I said good game and Contracts mode is a big plus (if it was working!!) for replayability just a shame there arent enough levels like "Hope" in it, or so far as much as I have played.
So i take a guard out and someone notices it's not any of his buddies pretty much straight away.
Makes sense!
