When Capcom started wrapping their mouths around Microsoft's dick. Kinda depicted in the cover of the game. Or maybe that's just a coincidence. Nah. Game is guaranteed to sell 80: 20 on 360 over PS3 too.

I for one always liked Leon but I think Capcpom is trying too hard to cater to the dudebros lately, they should leave their old franchises true to their roots and start new ones for that purpose instead.

have the game for Review.. it s very bad.. Dstructroid gave it 3/10, IGN 7,9/10, Gamespot 4,5/10.. My personal opinion is 4,5/10.. Only Leon's Campaign a little good.. Other cant playable.. Very very bad game.. We need Shinji Mikami back for Resident Evil being again Resident Evil again.

Lol no way in hell Mikami would want to work on new RE game at this point. Why he should? Tango Gameworks have big publisher like ZeniMax and they work on survival-horror game atm.

Wow, that's very disappointing. And here I was having pipe dreams of taking my weekends off to enjoy long hours game swapping between Halo4 and this new Resident Evil. I for one loved Resident Evil 5. I personally think it was the best co op game I've played to date. It really took teamwork. My brother and I completed it together and it felt as if we were in the same room. Those who think Resident Evil 5 was bad are probably the type of people who just agrees on something just because others do. It was technically one the best games of this generation.

More than likely. I'm still getting it for sure. I loved RE4 and RE5.

The same people bashing this are the same people that didn't like Resident Evil 4 (the best in the series). RE6 may have some problems presentation wise, but these guys haven't liked the core game for almost a decade.

Nostalgia is a helluva drug.

Hmm, sounds about as bad (or at last as far off the rails from RE) as I imagined it would be. Shame, but not a terrible surprise either. Oh, and as for the daft comments on who's to blame for the Japanese devs losing the plot, it's no one's fault but their own. They didn't move with the times in some cases, and in other's they tried to hard to move with current western trends and in turn destroyed any identity their original IP's had that made them good in the first place, RE being a primary case with that. They've tried to go all actiony WS Anderson film style bollocks, and it's turned out to be just as much of a turd as the things they are trying to replicate. No coincidence there. They shot themselves in the foot. But this being today's market, shit sells in abundance, and so will this. There's no room for quality or niche anymore.
