Nostalgic players are in for a treat with the return of the original Star Wars: Episode I Racer thanks to gog.com. Since we were sent a code, we jumped back in time 19 years ago and brought you back some videos with the power of the force.
One of the best games of all time! I've been waiting for years for GOG to fix it for modern systems, and they finally did!
Anyways, the game supports proper widescreen resolutions, why were the videos in 4:3? Nostalgia factor? :)
Also, you guys didn't seem to use the booster at all. WHY? Go back playing the game, switching and upgrading your ride and come back with another gameplay video where you surpass the 1000 [whatever these speed units are] threshold :)

Because I found no resolution option whatsoever in the game so it's not like I had a choice. :/
Edit : I've figured out where you can change the resolution, in the game's settings in Gog Galaxy. Sadly, now every time I launch Mirillis Action! the camera is stuck in the rear view, which makes it impossible to play...
As for boosters, the button mapping option (which you have to use even with an Xbox One controller) was broken when I captured the game (for me at least) and I didn't have time to try again and make new videos (work, work, work). :)

I understand. Well, I hope that in the near future you'll find some time to come back to this game, find solutions to your problems (try using the DgVoodoo 2 wrapper, that way the game runs in DX11, and also, you can force MSAA through its interface; and/or try different recording software like Bandicam, OBS, etc., or one of your hardware capture cards) and do this legendary game justice with new gameplay video(s) in high resolution (at least 1080p60, at max settings - see this guide https://www.gog.com/forum/star_wars_episode_i_race... ) with forced MSAA and flying at mind-boggling speeds ;) The fun really starts at 850 [whatever these speed units are].
To actually activate the boost, you need to point the nose of the pod downward when the green light on the speedometer is on, and when the light turns yellow you can engage the boosters. I only play using keyboard so I'm holding the forward arrow key and W key simultaneously almost all the time, the most common exceptions being long jumps and zero-G tunnels ;)
