First 10 minutes PC Xbox 360 PS3

For many reasons, people do not consider WRC 3 as a potentially good game, but they are wrong. After two episodes which were far from being convincing in certain aspects, the franchise has come a long way and Milestone's title is now a solid rally game. It may not be impressive technically speaking, but the environments still look very nice. Above all, it plays really well, whether you use a controller or a wheel, and the sensations are excellent, with perfectly designed stages. A really nice surprise you should definitely try considering its price.

It's also good because it's a good game you know, at least from what I have seen of it. ;)

Yes, 360 version to be exact. Capturing the PC version is a bit hard for the moment, Fraps and Mirilis Action! make the game slow down a lot when in capture mode. We're working on it.

i can't reward this. it can be the best version of the license they did and the best they can do, but it still is full of last-gen models and fugly effects. (puddles of water, bad DOF, textures, vegetations).

I just want these guys out of the WRC license for good.

I rented this and WRC 2 is way better than this. Control and road feedback is EVERYTHING in a rally game. WRC 3 has NO real rumble feedback AT ALL while driving.

It only rumbles when you go off track and hit walls and jumps...Thats it!! No sliding rumble or surface change rumble at all.

WRC 1(2010 version) had this same problem and WRC 2 fixed it all. Graphics is NOTHING without good gameplay. WRC2 pyhsics are way more sim-like than WRC 3, not to mention WRC 2 is 100% rally. WRC 3 has TONS of stuff from Dirt 2/3 like hitting blocks and sliding for points etc...

That's your opinion. As far as I'm concerned, WRC 3 plays much better and it keeps me entertained, which WRC 2 did not for long. Lucky me then. Maybe that's because the first rally game I played as a teenager on console had no rumble option whatsoever (because it didn't exist at the time) and I still could appreciate it. I agree that it is important, but back in the days, we could do without and it didn't make gameplay terrible.

Yeah, I'm not really getting the love for this either. Must be the license or the anti-Dirt sentiment, but nothing much exceptional here other than the fact that it is a dedicated rally title. It's not terrible by any means, but just seems completely average in all aspects.

The sound effects are weak, the cars feel way too light and grippy on all surfaces, graphics are decent but well below other rally titles, and road feel and damage physics are much worse than Dirts. The only areas I would say it actually excels over Dirt are the tracks (barely), the rally experience, and the lack of central pivot. If that is enough to warrant the purchase price then more power to you, but I will wait until it hits the bargain bin.

Well said. I respect your opinion. For me this game took 1 step forward(graphics), and 2 steps back(Worse Physics and worse feedback).

WRC2 for me is the closest a rally game has gotten to the mighty RBR.

WRC 3 is far superior, Even the ISR guys that got a hold of early preview build said it was a big step up!
