Xbox 360

Rareware just released this brand new trailer of Kameo, looks like this one is done for theaters. Not sure the style fits the game, but whatever.

Talk about a polished trailer. I would be stoked if I saw this in a theatre, on the huge screen.

With the bright colors and bump mapping, this game is screaming to be played in HD. Me and my poor low def TV :( Hopefully soon I'll be remedying that situation.

Pretty much good enough to fool people into thinking it's a new CG movie from Pixar or someone similar! :)

Where do they get these movie announcers from lol.

I can see where they're going with that trailer but it most be for cinemas, the way it's advertised.

I say the very serious voice and tone of the trailer is not really the best way to promote this game. That's my opinion.

Yea, I agree. The voice was a bit lame. These ad folk should be shot sometimes. How can that be good. bah.

Anyway, the Kameo trailer on here a day or two ago was really good. Music was awesome.

But then I feel like I'm wasting the power...hehe... I've got a 27" Daewoo TV, with rounded screen technology. =D

Depends on your definition of the trailer being the best way to promote the game. I think that trailer will help sales of the product (which lets be honest, is the point of advertising). I can appreciate anyone who feels that the feel of the game doesn't match the trailer and thus people may be disappointed once they actually play the game, but that trailer does have a broad appeal that I think is effective.

I know my wife and a friend of mine who had no interest in the product beforehand were moved enough upon seeing it to say that they wanted to try it now.

I think it's effective, too. I wouldn't really know how accurate it is in getting the themes across until I know just how LOTR-ed up it is since the original previews. All I've seen lately is badlands badlands badlands really.

As a trailer it's several times better than the Condemned travesty. I challenge you to watch that without cracking up at some point.. the guy must be drunk.

Don't even get me started on how Kameo has been LOTR-ified. IMO, it was the worst decision Rare made with the game (along with the badlands). They completely ruined the music (which is what determines the game's mood and atmosphere) of Kameo doing so. If you go to rare's site at http://rareware.com and listen to a song in the download section for Kameo called "Once Upon a Time", THAT is how the music of the game should be. But unfortunately we won't be seeing anything like that in the final game.
