Kameo: Elements of Power was one of the games that launched with the Xbox 360 back in 2005. Rare's title was already updated to run in 4K on Xbox One X a couple of years ago but it just got a new update for the 20th anniversary of the release of the original Xbox. As a result, it is now possible to enjoy it with a smooth 60 fps framerate, as proven by our gameplay video inside.

Rare just announced a new Downloadable Content Pack for Kameo, the Kameo Design-A-Skin DLC, which will be released tomorrow for free. They let some fans design new skins for the old Kameo characters, and look for yourself here how they turned up. The Pummel Weed and Snare skins almost makes me want to buy back the game.

Rare just released this brand new trailer of Kameo showcasing the downloadable content. First of all a new demo, looking much more interesting than the one we all already know, but also the coop mode via xbox live and the new skins are all in there. Just the music is enough to justify the bandwidth for this file.

The Kameo DLC was released last week, adding XBL enabled co-op mode. Two packs of costume additions for the warriors was also released, and Microsoft released these images showing some co-op costumes. Too bad I sold the game after beating it in 8 hours, just like 80% of the buyers seemed to do. The second part of the game rocked, so this DLC should make the game popular when it goes down in price.

Rare released these two videos this week, presenting the characters 40 Below and Flex.

As a way to finish with this series of "first 10 minutes" about Kameo, let's take a quick ride on a horse in the middle of a troll army, and walk a bit in a bad guys infested forest. This should be the best video to get to see what Kameo's gameplay is all about.

Rare released two character videos on the same day today - I guess they finally understood that releasing trailers after a game's release isn't a very good idea. Anyway, it's time for some Chilla and Deep Blue action.

Kameo certainly did take a long time to be released since it was first announced on Gamecube during E3 2001. Who would have guessed it would be a laynch title for the next generation of Xbox consoles? Certainly not me. Anyway, since this title is quite different from our usual games and the first level is not really the best way to show off its looks, I've decided to make this a 3 parts video.
