Hallelujah! Bethesda finally released three new images of its highly anticipated RPG, The Elders Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Needless to say, it's simply beautiful.

i've seen better screens of the game.

Nothing special about this game. Not next-gen at all.
Ultimately though, this game is not all about the graphics.
How can you judge how water looks from a static screen?
Why do you do this to us...me wants this game now!!!!!!!!
Looking at those shots just doesn't seem to jibe with the quotes from all the "big" game mags in their print ad saying "quite simply, the best looking game I've ever seen" and "jaw-dropping", etc. Textures look bad, water looks bad, terrain looks flat and angular, etc.
Probably still a sweet game. They should definitely thank god for that tree "growing" middleware, because at this point the forests are far and away the best looking part of the game.
