Our first contact with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was on Playstation 4, and although Kojima's Fox Engine didn't look as impressive as we could expect, it was still a lot better than what we got to see yesterday when we finally played the Xbox 360 version of the game. Low framerate, pop-up issues, aliasing, poorer textures, the difference is quite clear from the get-go. That being said, this old gen version still has its moments, with nice lighting and weather effects (rain drops also look nice in slow motion) and well-rendered cutscenes. Problem is, as soon as you start goofing around because you have the whole Gamersyde team in the living room - and they never make it easy on you when you try to play seriously - things get a bit messy and it doesn't really show Ground Zeroes in its best light. We'll let you find the incriminated video on your own. Many thanks to Xbox for sending us this copy of the game.

BTW:- pls can we get some Infamous Second Son 1080p gameplay vids? thank u GS
This game however still looks great on current gen, friends didn't believe me when I explained to them in Sep 2012 that the debut footage was current gen. Its obvious that a game released 6 years after the last one, that was an early generation game of its era, was going to look much better.
the fuck deadrising has anything to do with it? this IS a shit output for MGSV. a game running on a engine that looks passable on current gen because of shitty last gen output texturing and modeling, and runs and looks (IQ) like shit on last-gen compared to better engines on last-gen games, for stressing the hardware too much.
clusterfuck. definition of cross-gen. too bad, kojoima.
After a couple weeks the missing headline articles pop up in the home page feed but then they are no longer on page 1 so again it's totally missable.
I don't think it's a big deal but thought I'd let you know Drift.
I'm still holding out for the PC version, and hopefully it gets bundled with phantom pain. or heavily discounted so i can pick up both for cheap.
Check up there and if everything is checked, then click on the "initialize button".
Also, this engine is built for last gen, what do you expect? Stop your uneducated bitching about the engine. it looks fine on current gen and sharp (if not extraordinary) on current gen. If not everything needs to run at the very much more responsive 60fps, not everything needs to look as sharp and shiny as InFamous.
MGS V on 360 is a LAST gen game and looks great no matter how much you want to complain and is nowhere as bad as how a baffling game like DR3 turned out. DR3 is one of those launch games that reviewers will be saying in 3 years "what were we thinking giving that 8/10 back then?".
