As you probably figured out, we really enjoyed Crysis 2 here at Gamersyde, even though it is a bit disappointing in a few departments (the physics engine is less impressive than in the first episode, the AI is also lacking, not to mention the many bugs we witnessed). Therefore, we decided to try to capture some PC gameplay footage, which is a first.
Update: One last gift for you, we added two 1080p videos, 30 fps only though.
Now wait, it does not mean we will be doing it on a regular basis, as it will depend on the games we buy. That being said, if you appreciate it, we will try to do it anytime we can. Miguel captured the first video and I was in charge of the second one so it was really team play on this one. Because the only means we have to capture PC footage is Fraps, we had to lower the resolution to 720p so the 60 fps framerate does not suffer too much. You might notice a few hiccups here and there but they are mostly due to Fraps slowing down our computers a bit. i know it is not 1080p but for now, that's the best we can do unfortunately. By the way, to PC owners, we both use a controller to play first person shooters on PC and we like it!

But Crysis & Crysis WarHead look better over all!
Xbox 720/PS4 PLEASE!
Great game overal, but they REALLY need to fix the bugs and glitches with patches.

Mine is Limited Edition, but I dont think it has anything to do with that, weird.
And I too play on the PC using a controller (PS3 mapped as Xbox wireless) and it works for me..
MP its damn hard now that they removed the auto aim, so gamepad users has no advantage over mouse while mouse has accuracy and speed which is unfair.
One of the reasons why I bought the PS3 version, gamepad for MP were all players have the same controls.
And mouse and keyboard are not unfair. It's the PC-version. How can that be unfair?
Mouse has 2 advantages man, speed and precision, sure its a natural movement skills but for those who dont want to play with k/m should be able to put on some auto aim, atleast have a filter were its "gamepad only".
I remember Crysis Wars had it, that would be nice.
It is kind of sad that a game released almost 4 years ago is still the standard bearer. As much as I hate spending money, it is TIME for a new generation of consoles. They are causing everything to stagnate. You can't tell me that Crysis 2 wouldn't be blowing everyone's mind right now if it didn't have to run on 6 year old hardware that was already lagging behind PC's when launched.

Kintect and PS3 Move was just launched and they are playing catch up to Wii then there is that whole debacle of game devs complaining that current gen hardware is too complex and THQ stating it would be a financial disaster if they had to buy new dev tools for a new console (that includes hiring additional programmers) hopefully you get the picture. Its better to wait even though it hurts but the next consoles will be much faster than a single GTX 580.
Kz2 got alot of reviewer complaints because it did not have a 2 player splitscreen coop mode, Kz3 got it but as a side effect the 3d engine shows how hard it hits it in performance.
Crysis 2 does not have splitscreen mode and amazingly the reviewers are not even mentioning this yet at the same time that is the real reason why C2 like Kz2 looked so amazing, the game programers only had to worry about one resolution and then use their skills to max out the graphics.
You gotta wonder about Halo with its 4 player splitscreen 3d engine, if they had made a single screen/resolution 3d engine, Halo would have looked miles better than Crysis 2.
