Gears of War: Ultimate Edition took its time to be released and we must say we expected a lot more in terms of performance. There seems to be a problem with the frame rate everytime the game must stream the next part of the level in campaign mode. This results in noticeable frame drops that are hard to accept on high end rigs like Miguel's (Intel i7 5930K @ 4.6 GHz, Asus X99-Deluxe, 16 GB DDR4 1600 MHz, NVIDIA Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti G1 GAMING 6 GB @ 1492/7200 MHz). Also disappointing is the fact that all the game's cutscenes are 30 fps videos, just like on Xbox One. We have a bunch of videos ready for you guys so you can see for yourself and make up your own mind about the port.

Cheers for vids guys.
I agree with the sentiment. The Universal Windows App platform is a terrible way to distribute full-scale applications and games. And it's also a move away from the freedom that appeals to users of the platform to begin with. There's a reason I have a PC instead of a Mac.
That said: Use whatever you friggin' like!
You're right though, everyone should be able to play the way they want without being asked "why blablablabla". PC players... :p
Their agenda is harming DirectX too: http://www.pcper.com/reviews/General-Tech/PC-Gamin...
It might seem like a pain in the ass, but it gives you the movement and easy-of-use of a gamepad with the precision and accuracy of a mouse. This definitely helps on the hardest difficulty on most shooters, when precision and accuracy are very important for survival.
I also mostly play with a gamepad, since 90% of the games I play are better with a gamepad than mouse + keyboard. Just wanted to give you an alternative to keyboard with gamepad + mouse.

Muhahaha!!
I really didn't like the fact that the whole mass effect trilogy on pc was mouse and keyboard only. thank god for pc mods though, the Nexus mass effect trilogy controller mod was a god send.
Muhahaha!!
Muhahaha indeed.

Not that there's anything wrong with working (or gaming) in Windows 10, and it has had a fantastic adoption rate.
Being free helps a lot.
if they actually bought the developers they wanted they'd have a much more interesting offering when it came to games. hell, halo might actually be good still?
