Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has been available for a few days now, and thanks to GoG, we have been able to record some PC footage up to 4K. Ninja Theory's new title is probably not for everyone as its main strengths are its story, its sound design and atmosphere but it deserves some attention. The way the game deals with psychosis and the ways it drew its inspiration from Poetic Edda are pretty impressive and you can tell a lot of work and efforts have been put in the writing and the game's background. Check out the following videos if you're curious to see the very beginning of the adventure.

there are certain areas in the game where the game takes a massive hit in terms of level design and optimisation (framerate issues). almost all AMD GPUs are reportedly suffering from incredibly low frame rates past a certain point in the game, it renders the whole game unplayable and lowering the graphics did not seem to help at all, we're talking the lowest settings and resolution just to get 25fps !!!!!
optimisation issues are a major concern with this game and ruins what is otherwise a beautiful narrative to a point where you can't help but think something is going on with the studio and Nvidia
