GSY Video PS4 PS3 Vita

While Xbox One owners will discover the pleasure of golf sometime today, Sony's Playstation 4 is about to have players join the very selective club of secret agents and spies. Set during the Cold War, CounterSpy is a side-scroller which involves stealth and action. The game's aesthetics are particularly solid and the jazzy soundtrack and slick animations completes the good presentation. Going into cover changes the game's perspective, which becomes compulsory to take out all the enemies situated in the background, and the shooting mechanics, though not perfect, are well-crafted. AI is not always consistent however and exploration remains limited due to the small size of the randomly generated levels. No Metroid vibe to get from this one then, in spite of the presence of a different set of collectibles (ranging from money to weapon parts or abilities). Not the best indie game out there, but still fun to play nonetheless. Check out our 4 videos of the PS4 version.

Looks super simple and straight forward. And a decent amount of the art is a bit more than inspired by TF2, from the looks of it.

Catches ideas from others, indeed, which is not a bad thing tho. I would like to add Mark Of The Ninja on the xbox360 as well. Love the genre. The 3D aim looks kinda cool. Bottom line seems like another nice little game to play. Im going PSVita for the most part with this even tho is cross-buy.

I want to preorder this but I can't from the PS4. Looks so damn cool. Love me some sidescrollers with possible stealth and a snazzy art style.

Some of the sexiest art i've seen in a game for a while. Love stylisation like this. Might buy it for that reason alone

Man I love this game. Just got it last night for my PS4 and Vita. 15 bucks and got it for all 3 systems. It looks great on all of them. I will be playing this on my Vita at work tomorrow lol
