Assetto Corsa is now fully available and since a DLC adding some new content (the iconic Nurburgring-Nordschleife and 10 new cars: lfa Romeo 4C, GTA and 155 Ti V6 ‘93, BMW M235i Race car, GM Corvette C7r GTE, McLaren P1 and F1 GTR, Mercedes-Benz 190E EVO II and C9, Nissan GT-R NISMO 2014 GTR) was released this week, we've captured a bunch of 1080p/60fps videos. Although the game obviously proposes less content than titles like Forza, GT or PCARS, it is by far the best sim to date. With the addition of mods and some most probably new content by the developers, there is still plenty of things to keep busy. Hopefully, night and weather will be added later, but until then, the game plays incredibly well with a wheel. Kudos to Kunos Simulazioni for making replays with realistic camera angles as it is not always the case in the other games of the genre. If you like car driving game, this is the one to go for.
Note: Videos were captured with a driving wheel, in pro mode (no assists) and with manual transmission.

But wtf is with the paper cut out people. It's just wrong.
Teraflops of power and that's all they do.
However, in this day and age, i do feel that in a situation where a developer ''could'' use crappy crowd gfx, or use good ones--and probably fairly easily--that the developer should at least animate them, and make them 3d, even if low poly.
Personally i love the feel of the cars in AC, and the audio, but the lack of career or even development leads to a low replay-ability unless you are specifically testing certain cars.

"AC with green hell is the best at the moment. IRacing has too many arsholes with no life."
I guess iRacing still has the best, most dedicated community of sim fans.
