After all the rumors, Red Dead Redemption did return but it was a rather lazy port, despite a few noticeable imporvements over the original game and even the version running on backward compatibility one Xbox One X and Xbox Series X|S. FSR2 has indeed been used as an antialiasing method to boost image quality on PS4 Pro and PS5 and the game looks very sharp in 4K with more defined shadows. The Switch version is also pretty good as it runs in 1080p with a steady 30 fps framerate (like all PlayStation versions). Needless to say it's nice to be able to play such an iconic game in portable mode. Still, we can't accept Rockstar's decision to ask for such a high price, especially considering they could have done more with this port, like by pushing framerate to 60 fps on PS5 among other things. As a result, we can only advise you to wait for a sale before you put your money down.
