When Ubisoft announced that only the PS4 version of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag would get the 1080p patch, Xbox One - future - owners may have been a bit disappointed. Fortunately, the differences between the two versions are minor in the end and playing the game on Xbox One will be just as good an experience. On Microsoft's console, we did see a few more frame drops once in a great while and some NPC pop-up in town - even when close to the player -, but other than that, it's the exact same thing and rhum tastes just as good on either platform.
Note: Once again, keep in mind that the sound problems you can hear are due to our capture equipment, not the game.

there is difference in versions?
I didn't notice any difference between the 2 versions. The Xbox One version is just as smooth and fun.

It's like 99% of people whining about graphics, dont know this rather simple thing.

Im a bit disapointed tbh. I thought the console would run with the same quality as xbox one but with higher res, thats what made me buy the ps4..guess I was stupid for trusting sony once again.

Because the XB1 version looks more detailed than the PS4's version. With no more noticeable jaggies
