The aliens of Crysis 2 have decided to show themselves a bit in today's new images of the game. In a month from now, we will find out if Crytek managed to deliver a worthy sequel to what is still the most impressive title to date, tech-wise.
Yup these are impressive.Crysis will be dealing with more besides linear encounters concerning it's non scripting ai and larger battle spaces.Reach was the same but this seems to have that beat.Great lighting
From what have I seen, witcher 2 is no were near as complex as Crysis 2...
I mean Crytek has been the leader in graphical arena since Far Cry 1 and the witcher guys have only put out 1 game and even that was running on bioware engine with poor performance. So I have littles hopes in their new engine
They have really done good job with their so called urban jungle and lights. But it also looks generic to me in motion. In KZ and also in BF I guess when you shoot it actually feel like you are doing something.

could go either way. They've said that they'll be pushing each platform to get the very most out of them..which could mean the ps3 takes the advantage. They've only ever demo'd the 360 version though..which could mean the ps3 gets the usual lesser version..or it's simply been behind in devlopment.
I reckon the next vid release will be of the ps3 version..should find out soon

Doubt it. I've heard that one before and the PS3 version usually looks and plays slightly inferior to the 360. I don't see why it would be different this time around.
The evidence still shows that 360 is the superior hardware. It doesn't matter though because this game won't see the light of day on my PS3. I'll be testing my GTX580 come March 22nd.
And the pictures look fine. They look like real gameplay pictures from a console. It's a great looking game even on consoles and I think it will beat the killzone series in overall aesthetics. The PC version will by a long shot.

Not. "PC" universally certainly does not equal superior. A powerful PC maybe, but not everyone has one of those, and that is what makes these technologically ancient consoles so impressive, imo...
