Looks like CG if anything. It is CG by the way. Not that ingame graphics aren't possible like this in the very near future or anything, its just really bad CG.

Neat trailer. Wish it were in-game, though. Can't say much about the game either 'til we see some gameplay(obviously).

I hope they got permission to use the Blade II vampire eaters :P

Total Cole MacGrath ripoff. From clothes design to being a "free runner" to his electric melee attack.

One thing I did enjoy and hope they can implement in the game is the fast and freeflow of parkour, something that isnt in InFamous.
Basically make it like Mirror's Edge but in 3rd person with good animations and parkour styles to use the environment anyhow how we want to travel.

i'm hoping the free running isn't like assassins creed where you just hold a button and watch.

Screenshots of the game look decent, and it sounds like it could be alright, but the trailer didn't really do anything for me, especially when he electrocuted that zombie. Hitting enemies with electrified weapons in games has never been something I've enjoyed or found particularly satisfying.

nah, actual game's gonna be nothing like infamous. It's basically dead island 2.. I think I read somewhere that the only reason it's not called dead island is because they don't own the name?

I really hope they nail a similar feel to mirrors edge with the parkour stuff. And it'll be really cool if the special night zombies/enemies can also do the same - be awesome seeing them running across roof tops after you.

Though glitchy, Dead islands been one of my fav co-op games.. so even if it's just more the same but prettier i'd definitely fancy picking this up at some point

"They jump, it must be copying infamous!"
What? It looks nothing like it, first of all. Second of all, most of what made infamous "special" was lifted from the devs previous games

What? Cole just wore cargo pants and a t-shirt, didn't he? That's basically ANYONE WHO DELIVERS SHIT FOR A LIVING. Pants and a t-shirt isn't a defining characteristic. And considering this is clearly a spiritual successor to a game with a weapon crafting system that could imbue weapons with essentially "elemental damage" I'd say that was more of a reference to that stuff being included in this game as well, not infamous. And infamous wasn't about "free running" at any point, it was more Assassin's Creed with a float jump. Climbing, sure. But that's very different from parkour, which is all about keeping on the move and maintaining momentum, not just climbing. This didn't look like a mix between Sly, Crackdown, and Assassin's Creed like Infamous did, at least in it's traversal aspects.

It's not bad, it looks like it's basically a souped up version of the engine. I'm thinking this trailer was created like the Left 4 Dead 2 intro and any of the Valve marketing material was. A souped up version of the engine that can do some offline rendering into a better looking version of the engine. It certainly matched the look of the shots we saw, and looks like it's using actual game assets.

WTF does this have to do with Infamous?

That's what I hate about PS Fanboys, they get out of control so easy. I wish MS does a decent job @ E3 just to keep Sony boys' feet on the ground.

It's a pretty easy call on the character design and then the "electric wrench" - both staples of Infamous. Beyond that these games are nothing alike.

And yeah, so this game is coming out on both platforms so I guess the fanboy thing is valid.../sarcasm
