Video PS4

Also unveiled at the PlayStation Meeting, the first 4K footage from Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration now available in direct feed courtesy of Square Enix.
The publisher announced that the game will include three modes: 4K Resolution, High Framerate, and Enriched Visuals. The first one speaks for itself and will make the game run at 4K/30fps while HFR will run at 1080 and push the framerate above 30fps "with a target of 60 fps". The latter mode will keep the game at 1080p/30fps but will enhance graphical features of the title.

ROTR has always been a looker. looks pretty close to the pc version actually. but don't forget, the pc version is a lot cheaper now. also it has many things uncapped, which can be viewed with even higher hardware and performance.

I want to see how close the 1080p 30fps version looks like compared to pc at ultra 1080p. If its close then the pro actually really interests me as a hdtv owner if more devs do what crystal dynamics did

such an ugly visual inconsistent game, like its made by various teams of average to decent level designers with no quality filter. make one fine looking detail/animation, let a dozen other atrocious sub-par details go by.

Crystal Dynamics, alright.

I had quite the enjoyment with this game on the XB1. Its a no-brainer for gamers who like these types of games since this is one of the best. I preferred this series over Uncharted because of the gameplay but the last Uncharted game is every bit as good gameplay wise. It starts of really slow but picks up.

I will leave my final judgement for when I finish Uncharted but these two games are no-brainers for third person action adventure.

Part of the reason I always loved console gaming was that I didn't have to worry about changing graphics settings - I knew that I was getting the same experience that the developers knew I was getting, that everyone else was getting. I'm personally not very excited about this new "pro" crap. I guess I may as well be a PC gamer now.

I think it's great to have options, but it does sort of prove that pc has been the way forward with gaming. since not everyone has an interest in 4k this is similar to what transpires with pc gaming; hence the options. pretty soon people may take to pc gaming as how close everything is turning out to be.

Ever since the 128 bit era people bought into the marketing of new media standards, now we have people wanting to stay with what they have. so naturally more support options was bound to happen.

Well why can't we get improved visuals AND 60fps at 1080p? That's what I expected out of this thing. Don't care about 4k. It's still going to be behind my pc by a good margin.
