Xbox 360 PS3

Rainbow Six Vegas was present during the last E3, but for some reason wasn't as hyped as expected by the press. And it's even stranger after having seen this long video showcasing the E3 level, as it certainly looks like a great game!
Update 2: The complete video is now available, and as a bonus for waiting so long, a 720p version too!

After lockdown I was completely turned off from Rainbow Six. I loved the first one (Rainbow Six 3) for Xbox... such great times on Live with friends. It's funny, rarely any new games give me the feelings I once had from that game. This game looks to be going back to it's roots somewhat, and looks damn good to boot. The thing that's been on my mind constantly are things that game almost require... Co-op (preferably on Live) is a big one. I don't think co-oprative play has hit it's peek, and everyone seems to love it so much everytime it's included in a game. Army of Two looks like it could be interesting and I hope more Co-op centric games get released in the near future.

Imagine playing Co-op on a 360 with PC users on some new game released for both like Shadowrun or HUxely.

GRAW really was just the beginning for these guys. Amazing stuff. Unreal Engine 3 is really giving the devs the power they want to make what I want :). Cannot wait for this game.

UE3 looks and works great, right! ...but there is no innovation to licence the ue3 for almost all the 'great' games in the future for x360 and ps3. i love the wII controller, now THAT is iNN0VATi0N !

The gameplay looks really similar to GRAW. They even have the helicopter thing which looks almost the same (but prettier, if that was even possible). Did GRAW also use the unreal engine? Who's developing this one?

It is not using the unreal engine and graw did not use the unreal engine. They created their own engine. I can't remember the name but it tells you the name of the engine in the credits when you finish graw. If anyone remembers the name chime in.

There's a non-shakey cam, straight HIDEF record without the cheesy guy doing the narration on IGN

I know that GRAW didnt use the U3Engine but I thought for sure this game did..? Either way, those are some good ass gfx.

Oh and I like how the guy who's narrating says that you cant just go in guns blazing, and then the team kicks through the window and shoots up the place.

both GRAW and RSV use custom-modified versions of UE3

Ubisoft has traditionally used the Unreal engine for almost every TC game since RS3(?)
