PC players have been patient. Fourteen years after the initial release of Red Dead Redemption on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, they can finally play it on their own machines. The port is accompanied by a few extras as the possibility to play the game at 4K native, run it up to 144 fps in HDR10, but there is also support for extra-wide screens (21:9) and super extra-wide monitors (32:9). NVIDA DLSS 3.7 and FSR 3.0 are also part of the package along with several graphics options that are now tweakable (like the level of detail of geometry, terrain, trees and grass as well as draw distance for trees). Obviously, you can choose to play the game with a controller or with a mouse and keyboard. Last but not least, the game runs perfectly well on Steam Deck, at 60 fps provided you're willing to lower a few settings or at 40 fps with ultra settings.
