Graphics are much improved, same goes to the weapons.
They feel and sound very visceral and punchy compared to the old ones that felt like toys LOL.

Looks good, like the storm effect, can't wait to see more gameplay :)

looks cool. the little things like the wind, dust and smoke just make the environment feel much more alive compared to past games. guns sound way better, they even look way better. i like the fact the bullseye seems way easier to use and way more intuative to know when you have or havnt market a target for homing bullets. enemies seem way more brutal (as does the tone in general) and most importantly it looks like it's going back to what i loved about the first game in the series....non regenerative health, weapon wheel and campaign split screen. stylistically it seems much more "resistance" then R2 did too.

should be good. but there is only one FPS i care about atm....killzone 3.

At the very beginning "Billy" gets his head torn off. I'd say thats gore.

Too bad that seems to be the only way Devs can think of to make things look more "alive". It's like Killzone Syndrome- Super Windy World!!

There's a reason for this. At the end of Resistance 2, the civilized world is essentially demolished and a gateway to another world is open, bringing more destruction along with it. I'd expect lots of smoke and debris in a world like this.

true I think Dead Space 2 has set a new standard for head ripping ... so perhaps that doesn't even climb to the top of that bar.

i'm fine with that. killzone does it the best. resistance want's some of the action. movement = alive. if wind is their way to achieve that, then so be it. better then a dead, lifeless environment that's only movement is it's trees like most games...lol.

It looks like killzone 1.5 which is not bad but the story will be better. killzone3 is getting poor score for story.

i know. probably my most hated thing halo made popular. i know it brings strategic thinking into the equation. but really. being lumbered with 2 shitty guns in a situation when you need something way better is one of the most frustrating things ever. i remember having to fight 2 hunters in halo reach with a target designator (which i couldnt use cos i was indoors) and a pistol. lets just say it took a while.
