The enhancements for the Xbox One X version of Rise of the Tomb Raider (developed in partnership with Nixxes Software) have been unveiled by Square Enix. As expected, players will be able to choose from three modes: Native 4K, Enriched Visuals and High Frame Rate. Technically Advanced Enhancements of Critically-Acclaimed Adventure Available for Xbox One X on November 7
Developed in partnership with Nixxes Software, the Xbox One X enhancements for the award-winning game include premiere graphics and other technical enhancements that leverage the full power of Xbox One X with settings that gamers can tailor to their taste.
Xbox One X players can choose from one of three visual modes, including:
• Native 4K: (full 3840 by 2160) for highest fidelity resolution
• Enriched Visuals for stunning graphic upgrades
• High Frame Rate for the smoothest possible gameplay
New Xbox One X tech enhancements for Rise of the Tomb Raider include:
• HDR display support for more vibrant and accurate color representation technology
• Spatial audio support, including Dolby Atmos®, for true 3D audio
• Enhanced texture resolution for Lara Croft®, NPCs, and environments, leveraging additional memory offered by the Xbox One X
• Improved anti-aliasing for immersive realistic details
Additional visual enhancements include:
• Improved volumetric lights
• Improved reflections

• Upgraded polygonal detail

it's the Nixxes version. likely it'll use similar presets. 4k mode however is native. me thinks 4k mode may come with a texture enhancement. given the fact that turn10 said the Scorpio has enough power to render XB1 games in 4k native with a couple enhancements.
Like most games made for Xb1 first, or in this case even 360 hardware first, it should be easy to get it to native 4K.

@KORNdog I know, its so adorable. I still wish we had a Crash Bandicoot style remake of the REAL Tomb Raider 2 though or if reboot Lara had even a tiny pinky finger of classic Lara's bad assitude. :(
