Xbox 360

Famitsu Weekly also had a few screens of Kengo Zero, the latest installment of the Kengo series, developed by Genki. It doesn't look like it will be a graphical showcase for the 360...

These kind of games always goes to the Playstation world, so its kind of cool that Xbox gets one to. But the graphics isnt exactly appealing as Blim says.

It's *only* samurais and swords. The devs also worked on the first 2 bushido blades games.

Yup, Kengo is a spiritual successor to Bushido Blade!

Has there been anymore news about Way Of The Samurai Online? I read that it was announced for the 360 then there has been nothing on it since.

Bushido Blade was a samurai simulator, a fighter in essence were you could kill or be killed in just one strike, it was great :)

I like it, its non-anime look, almost as akira kurosawa movies, if graphics improves and if fighting is reallife this could be sweet.

these japanses devs never seem to put much heart into there games really do they, i mean great there making games for the 360, but you know, put some soul into it try and give it SOME freshness

or else we are getting 720p ps2 games ....

roll on dead rising "HAIL CAPCOM" *them bieng the only ones who put thought into there games*

At the moment they don't have the budget or the experience to keep up with the Capcoms and Konamis, let alone first party titles. Don't forget most of these Japanese companies are coming off the back of PS2 development which means they have little to no knowledge of shader usage.

Looks okay, but really can't make any kind of judgement on such little screens.

Bushido Blade was awsome though, someone needs to make another sword fighter like it.

Phew thats a relief because I want to see a much cooler looking game (something very anime like from whatever Okamoto has planned for the 360) This is good the 360 is definetly getting some decent support so far. Basically even ps3 developers will have to start using shaders now due to the rsx.
