Xbox 360

The official Blue Dragon page has been put online a few hours ago, with nothing really new to see unfortunately. But since a 720p version of the TGS trailer was available there, I've decided to put it here as the one I captured from the Marketplace wasn't perfect.
Update : Added 3 images.

That is an absolute MUST.

If not, at least have the option to change Japanese voice & English subs.

I'm surprised at the amount of hype given the generic nature of the game.

Due to the limited space (in dvd's) with Xbox360, and considering the amount of space a long rpg like this would take, chances are you will not have the option to have japanese voice overs with english sub. B-ray has the capability of having so much content and possibly voices of all language on a single SKU (if i'm using the term correctly). I just wish they would have gone with a high data storage format. Developers were complaining about the storage space with Enchant Arms and I don't think (though I hope) Blue Dragon will be able to put both English and Japanese languages in the U.S release.

Consider Mistwalker as well. The man running it used to make Final Fantasy games and never once did you see both language options in any FF game so I doubt the trend is going to change now.

Erm, Enchant Arms has an option to choose Japanese voices and Subtitles. That stuff about it being 2 Disc and the Space problems later was debunked and is reaaaly old. Even if BD would be 2 Disk I don't see it as a problem Skies of Arcadia is 2 Disk and that one was alot of fun.

blacklisted as a fanboy.
When you think about it, it shouldn't be impossible to add english subtitles to japanese audio. Can't imagine subs take that much space. If the discs aren't used in 5 years as Sony is saying, why bring out a new format?
burp. :/

For some reason I decided to give Enchanted Arms a rental, not being a real fan of JRPGS. I was pleasantly surprised by it, especially the battle system (and the hilarious dub of Makoto). Basically it ignited an interest in Blue Dragon that I wouldn't really have had before, but now I'm actually kinda hyped for it! :P

Didn't know the American release of Enchant Arm had english and japanese voiceovers, guess my friend couldn't find it. Hopefully then you do have the option of english and japanese voiceovers with subs in BD because if you didn't I probably wouldn't buy the english release. Oh yeah and about that quick to judge idiot "sarias": I wonder what you define as a fanboy? Simply because I made a reference to blue ray having so much space and possibly having a single SKU for all regions doesn't make anybody a fanboy. I don't disregard any system as long as it has fun games. Don't try and find people praising something and branding them a name to make yourself feel above them.

Xbox360 looks to have really nice titles coming out that I would buy like Gears of War and Lost Oddessy (spelling?) but recently LO has kind of lost my interest with that slow pacing gameplay =(. Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't say I like xbox360 games because then I might be branded a fanboy again....

@shinhyesung: don't forget that LO is early in development and we only saw a little bit. I think LO lives from the great Story. 1000 Year old Man, a large time to tell a Story.

I hope too BD comes with japanese Voice to Europe.
