If they polish this game up a bit, i think it could be relatively good. But her animation for instance, is just bad.

Yeah hopefully May is far enough off that they can add polish. Couldn't agree more

The ideas thrown in there are quite innovative but animation needs some SERIOUS work!

Im really interested in this, combat seems amazing and deep, making your own combos for various purpouses is great.

I like the design, but I see way too many similarities to Mass Effect. Not that it's a bad thing. It's also strange how even though I haven't played it yet, I'm getting a sense of clunky controls and slow response judging by the animations. I think if they can work that part out, this game will be a winner. Batman Arkham perfected this type of fluid battle system. It will be tough to follow.

This create-a-combo reminds me of God Hand, which very few games try to do.

I was gonna go "wow, the skin shader in the 6th shot looks amazing!". Then i realized it was a painting...

I don't think it is. It has aliasing and visible facets...

Kinda looks like a paintover imo, but who knows. It might just be an amazing moment. Cause it looks nowhere near that good in any of the other screens :P

I think it's normal for it to look good at times and really poor at others. Everything about the game feels unfinished

Do these custom made combos give you different move sets, or do they just give you different stat boosts for each successful hit?

I think it's only the boosts, but im okay with that, at least this way you're forced to vary your combos a bit, while simple 1-buttonmashing will get you nowhere. Maybe it'll give you even different movesets but i can't tell for sure at this point.
